DEI 40″x36″ Heat Screen solves the problem of heat from engines and exhaust intruding into interiors and components.
DEI 40″x36″ Heat Screen offers an excellent way to reflect radiant heat away from a vehicle’s interior.
Flexible so it can be easily trimmed-to-size to protect against excessive heat sources.
Constructed of a high temperature resistant fiberglass material, and with a thickness of only .060″. DEI Heat Screen features a reflective aluminized thermal barrier on one side of a mylar surface. DEI Heat Screen is capable of withstanding direct heat up to 1200°F.
Heat Screen can be used to protect areas where excessive heat can blister paint. Also, ideal where exhaust pipes run close to the fuel tank. There are many other applications including floorboards, body panels, and under carpeting. DEI’s Hi-Temp Spray Adhesive or Heat-Resistant Sealant can be applied to secure the non-adhesive backed Heat Screen. Mechanical fasteners (screws or rivets) can also be used. DEI’s Cool Tape™ is ideal for sealing and covering seams.
