AP 600 / R2 Brake Fluid
AP Racing Brake Fluids – developed specifically for use under the arduous conditions encountered at the highest levels of motorsport. All AP Brake Fluids except for R4 are compatible with hydraulic brake systems designed to conform to S.A.E. J1703 requirements.
AP Racing’s R2 fluid has a dry boiling point of 312°C. Specially developed to provide outstanding performance for racing applications where braking systems operate at high temperatures.
Note. R2 can be mixed with DOT4 brake fluids. For maximum performance ensure the system is thoroughly purged with R2 fluid.

To obtain best performance from racing brake systems.
- AP R2 brake fluid conforms to and exceeds DOT4 specifications.
- AP R2 should not be used with magnesium components.
- Bleed the system thoroughly.
- Be sure to bleed the brake system immediately prior to each event.
- Always use fresh fluid from a new sealed bottle.
- Ensure you replace the bottle cap when not in use.
- Never re-use brake fluid.
High temperature brake fluids should not be used as a substitute for proper brake cooling.
