The Racelid KF-X is the latest in Racelids’ helmet range. The first specifically developed for use in karting – priced at an entry level. It meets the same CMR-2016 standard as many of the “NAME Brand” karting helmets. Great value for those just starting out in Karting motor sport.
The KF-X is certified to the CMH standard, developed jointly by the FIA Institute and the Snell Memorial Foundation. Snell-FIA CMH standard – developed to create safer and lighter helmets for use in karting.
Under CIK regulations, helmets with Snell-FIA CMH standard (CMR) approval can be used by all drivers in karting. With a smaller shell size than some helmets the aim is to reduce the weight on a junior driver’s neck. These helmets are strongly recommended for drivers under 15 years old.
