DZUS FASTENER – 5 SERIES SELF EJECTING
Dzus fasteners – also known as Quarter Turn or Quick Turn Fasteners – allow quick removal of body and other panels. Ideal for panels needing to be removed frequently or for fast access at the track or workshop.
Dzus Fasteners use a cam style design to secure the fasteners. The fasteners have a notch machined into the shaft which locks onto a retaining spring. The spring provides constant tension to keep them secured.
- Heavy duty to allow repeated use with a fastener tool
- A larger size distributes the load over a larger area to avoid pull-through
- Spring holds button captive – can’t be dropped underneath the car or hard-to-get-at areas of the chassis
- A necessity for quick pit work in racing
- Heavy duty to allow repeated use with a fastener tool allen wrench or a ratchet without stripping
- Shank dia 5/16″
- Grip range: .198″ to .233″
