Alpinestars started developing auto racing footwear at the beginning of the 1990s, and equipped many of the world’s leading Formula 1 and Indycar drivers and an Auto Suit Department followed in 2000. The Championships of Petter Solberg in World Rally in 2003, Kurt Busch in the Nascar Cup in 2004 and Fernando Alonso in Formula 1 in 2005 started a continuous series of top Championships to this day.
